What can one see on a walk to school. If you like Ruby and quite imaginative, you can see a whole lot of interesting things. Where her mom sees a creek full of sticks and logs, Ruby sees alligators lurking about.
Throughout the book, Ruby remembers how she must stay strong and brave. This is a great story for preschoolers and early elementary children. Especially those for whom vivid daydreams seem to become real.
